Blues Boy Kings is a rocking blues band from Lincolnshire in the East Midlands. Going since 2010 they have amassed 3 studio albums worth of original material (all available from the merch table on the night) and draw influences from Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Peter Green, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton and the Bluesbreakers etc.
The original songs, like the band members, wear their hearts on their sleeves in terms of musical influences and there is much there for blues and blues rock fans alike.
As a duo, husband and wife team of Jason and Sam North still manage to create a truckload of energy and sound, as Jason plays Drums, Guitar, harmonica and sings. Sam plays bass and sings. She is also the smiliest and most energetic bass player you will ever see in your life.
Come and be blown away by all aspects of this pared down super blues group!
