Founded and fronted by identical twins Gemma and Violet, NOOKEE weaves together their Welsh, New Zealand, and Egyptian roots into a genre-blending sound that’s as electrifying as it is soulful.
If you haven’t experienced this band before you are in for a treat. Expect a fusion of ’70s soul, samba, and psychedelic rock. With Ruben Kingman, Matthew Lee, Stefan Dale and Bryn Morris backing them up, Nookee have graced the stages of Green Man, Kendal Calling and Sŵn and return to The Muse for a fantastic night live music with sets from DJ Herdsman Hick Mucknall pre and post show.
