JON AMOR TRIO…
2026 UK BLUES AWARDS NOMINEES – Band of The Year
Delivering high-energy Blues Funk.
Jon Amor fronts the trio, known throughout Europe & North America for his time with The Hoax, but now well-established as a performer in his own right. He has taken the stage alongside the likes of Van Morrison, Buddy Guy and Billy Bragg, and recorded with Robert Plant.
Bass virtuoso Jerry Soffe has recorded and played live with Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake), Larry Garner, John Etheridge, and Louisiana Red.
Dynamic drummer Tom Gilkes has toured and recorded with Marc Ford (Black Crowes) Ian Siegal, Elles Bailey, Muddy Manninen (Wishbone Ash), Willie & The Bandits, and John Cornfield (Muse, Oasis).
THE TERRAPLANES BLUES BAND (DUO)…
Authentic Delta Blues & R’n’B. Formed in 2013 as a duo, with a shared appreciation of Mississippi country blues.
Nick Scrase always in fine voice, gritty and soulful – alongside his powerful lead guitar soloing is inventive, blistering… in short, just right.
Eduardo Allen (surely the sharpest-dressed harmonica player in the West) is an incredible showman, with a remarkable physical presence on stage.

A British blues duo with a dark, unmistakable edge. Primitive and raw – Blues from the underworld!
A British duo with a dark, unmistakable edge. Blending gritty blues and roots music, it’s raw, rhythmic, and possessed by something older than rock ‘n’ roll itself! The music is the beat-up brainchild of Jo Carley (vocals, mandolin, washboard, percussion) and Tim Carley (battered archtop guitar, rattlin’ shoe, kick drum, distorted vintage amps, backing vocals), from JO CARLEY & THE OLD DRY SKULLS.
ELSIE FRANKLIN (SOLO)…
Elsie Franklin brings an enchanting blend of acoustic country blues, ragtime and jazz played on her trusty National resonator, all delivered with a beautifully authentic touch. Drawing from early masters like Memphis Minnie, Bessie Smith and Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Elsie’s fingerstyle and slide guitar playing is steeped in history yet utterly fresh. In the words of blues legend Dave Kelly: “Elsie Franklin is the most natural blues singer I’ve heard in years… she’s the whole package.”

Paul Keddle & Friends
Local Bluesman Paul Keddle has been playing across the Brecon area and beyond for well over 4 decades with several line-ups under this belt he will open our 12th anniversary gathering alongside a variety of fellow musicians from across the area and will also compare the entire day.
