RUBY & THE REVELATORS are proving to be a unique and very popular band on the blues scene. They perform a refreshingly unique set list, that combines imaginative interpretations of classic blues songs, as well as eschewing the obvious in favour of lesser known gems as well as showcasing their original compositions. Ruby & The Revelators are a band that will not just move people’s feet, but people’s hearts too. Referred to as “pocket dynamite” Ruby is renowned for her effervescent and magnetic stage presence and her passionate delivery. Her voice has developed into a powerfully smoky and gravelly, yet sweet instrument. Ruby is a singer that knows how to place her heart within the material, and draw on her life experiences to deliver the emotion that sits at the centre of a song.

Canadian blues artist Manitoba Hal has forged an international
reputation for engaging and connecting with his audience through
songs that are mournful, hopeful, silly, romantic and introspective.
He proves that the ukulele can be small but mighty as he pulls out
powerful blues riffs and melodies adding subtle important
accompaniment using looping technology.
His new album, the two-disc set Live In Ghent was recorded in
April 2016 at Missy Sippy Blues & Roots Club while on a tour stop
in Belgium. The result is a fascinating combination of masterful
musicianship, enthusiastic audience and a night to remember.
Covering classic blues songs by Robert Johnson, Bukka White,
Mississippi John Hurt and more. Manitoba Hal also performs
several original songs and a cover of a popular Tom Waits song.
His strong foundation in American roots / blues music,
confident baritone voice, and distinctive, original music have made
him a solid draw at festivals, house concerts and soft seat theatres
in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Drawing from his obsession with pre-war country blues, Half Deaf Clatch (aka Andrew McLatchie) has been impressing audiences all over the UK for the last seven years with his raw down-home blues sound and his original song writing. Described as a Slide Stomp Blues Machine he has been nominated in the finals of the British Blues Awards eleven times, and three times in the finals of the UK Blues Awards 2018.
Not one to rest on his laurels or shy away from a challenge, in 2017 Half Deaf Clatch pushed at the boundaries of traditional Blues when he released Crow Soul, a two-song ‘Gothic Blues concept album’ to wide-spread critical acclaim.
